What We're Working On This Week

At Erie Looking Productions we're seemingly always working. When we stop for a break, sometimes that involves heading to a rec room to hike on a treadmill. Beyond that we also seem to enjoy television programs such as House, NCIS, and Sanctuary. We do mix work with play.

For the program LISTen: The LISNews.org Podcast, we have two big items coming up this week. On Thursday we will be recording an interview with a vendor offering a new version release of an interesting Web 2.0-related bit of hardware. The crew talked to the Mississippi-based vendor previously during BlogWorldExpo 2008. On Friday a different vendor's CEO will be giving a briefing to the crew under embargo about a new product that CEO's company will be launching next week.

The program LISTen: The LISNews.org Vodcast remains on hiatus due to a lack of usable shooting space. There could be first looks at various Linux distributions still, though. Such remains an open possibility subject to audience demand.

We have one web design project for an artist that we are working on. It is expected that the project will launch by year's end. The artist is desiring a minimalist aesthetic on their website so we're avoiding using a server-side content management system. A server-side CMS might be simply overkill for what the artist desires.

Some computer care consultation work has occurred. The crew looks for additional projects. It should be noted that the first request via SMS message for a consult arrived this week.

The year may be ending, but we're still moving forward.
